Michael, I deeply appreciate your message. It seems that all too quickly today people are ready to start casting stones whenever a public figure stumbles. There seems to be a belief that because someone has risen to an elevated position, their moral fiber should naturally be elevated. Should this prove not to be the case, the 'holier-than-thou's' are often the first to express contempt.

I'd admire your efforts to bring evolutionary spirituality to the Christian church. Perhaps if more people would see the beauty of God expressed through The Great Story, understanding of such downfalls would be enhanced. We do not have to condone such action, but we need to realize how it can be possible for anyone to move in the flow of the moment and respond to a drive that is such a part of our evolutionary growth.
